Two days after Junior Pope was confirmed de@d, his best man during his wedding, Zubby Michael, gave Junior Pope’s family #10million Naira and promised to always support his kids.
Meanwhile, some Nigerians on social media are crit!cizing Zubby because he didn’t post a picture of Junior Pope on his Instagram to mourn him. People need to understand that there are many ways to mourn someone; merely posting a picture after their death doesn’t necessarily mean you care or love them deeply.
This is reminiscent of the criticism Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki) faced for not posting a picture of Mr. Ibu after his death, even though Aki was with them in the hospital, including the day Mr. Ibu passed away.
May the souls of Junior Pope and all Ndígbo who departed rest in peace, and may people like Junior Pope and Mr. Ibu, along with other good people from Igboland, return to our land, through reincarnation.
